About ErrorAway
Tech problems shouldn't need a translator. ErrorAway turns confusing errors into calm, clear steps that anyone can follow.
If you've ever searched for an error message and landed on a page full of jargon, broken English, or "fixes" that don't match your screen — you know why this site exists. We write the guide we wish we'd found: the actual problem, why it happens, and the exact steps to fix it, in plain language.
How we write our fixes
Every guide follows the same simple promise:
- Tested, not guessed. We list fixes that genuinely resolve the problem, ordered from most likely to last-resort, so you don't waste time.
- Plain steps. No assumed knowledge. If a step needs a keyboard shortcut or a menu, we tell you exactly where it is.
- Kept current. Apps and Windows update constantly, and updates break things. We revisit popular guides so the steps still match what's on your screen.
What we cover
Common errors across Windows, popular desktop apps, browsers and PC games — the "it won't open," "it keeps crashing," and "what does this code mean" problems that interrupt your day.
