Editorial policy
Our goal is to publish troubleshooting advice that is useful, understandable, transparent and safe to follow.
Accuracy and scope
Each guide should address a defined error or symptom. We distinguish confirmed information from likely causes and avoid guarantees that a fix will work on every configuration. Content is reviewed for technical plausibility, clarity and avoidable risk before publication.
Sources
We prefer official documentation, release notes and support material from the company responsible for the product. When community reports are useful, we treat them as reported experiences rather than established facts. Sources should support the claim near which they appear.
Originality
ErrorAway guides are written for this site. We do not copy another publisher's article or lightly rewrite it. Common troubleshooting steps may naturally overlap with official guidance, but our organization, explanations, warnings and verification instructions should provide independent value.
Safety
We favor reversible fixes first. Steps involving deletion, resets, system files, firmware, account access or security settings must explain the relevant risk and include a backup or safer alternative where appropriate. We do not promote unknown repair utilities as a substitute for diagnosis.
Commercial independence
Advertising does not determine which fixes we recommend. Advertisers do not review or approve editorial content. If we later publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, those relationships will be clearly disclosed on the relevant page.
Corrections and updates
Readers can report errors through our contact page or by emailing hello@erroraway.com. We review credible reports, correct substantive errors, and update the review date when the guidance is meaningfully checked or changed.
