Build a symptom-first diagnostic route

This tool does not scan your computer or promise a guaranteed diagnosis. It uses only the choices and error wording you provide.

Step 1

Check for stop signs first

Choose the closest situation. Serious storage or stability signs should override ordinary app troubleshooting.

How the Fix Finder makes a decision

The rules follow an evidence order. A specific message is stronger than a guess about the cause, and a serious stop sign is stronger than an ordinary app symptom.

1

Safety first

Missing storage, unreadable files and repeated stop screens move ahead of resets or reinstalls.

2

Exact wording wins

A named file or code routes to its focused guide instead of a broad “app will not open” list.

3

Scope narrows the layer

One failing app suggests a different path from several unrelated apps or an unstable PC.

4

One change at a time

The plan starts with a reversible check and gives you a result to observe before continuing.

Exact-message shortcuts

If your screen shows one of these exact clues, use the matching guide. Do not apply every fix on this page.

The tool cannot inspect your hardware. If a drive vanishes, files become unreadable, you hear unusual mechanical sounds, or the PC repeatedly loses power, minimize use and contact the device or drive manufacturer. Do not change SATA/AHCI/RAID/UEFI modes or run random repair utilities from an unknown source.

Privacy and limitations

The checklist runs in your browser. ErrorAway does not receive the selections, error wording or generated note. Google Analytics may record only coarse tool events such as a start or completed route; it never receives the error text you paste here.

The result is a troubleshooting route, not proof of an underlying cause. Managed devices, protected content, storage warnings and repeated stop screens may require an administrator, manufacturer or qualified repair professional.
